Film & Video Production

I first became interested in film production when I was 11. I discovered my dad’s old Bell & Howell and set up shop in the garage. It was then I first learned about the importance of lighting the scene after my first batch of dailies came out very dark.

During my senior year in High School, I became interested in Super-8 and bought a complete package with every accessory imaginable, including a 'Superscope' anamorphic lens. I invented a prototype similar to the PogoCam system currently in use today and I was very busy working on numerous film and video projects filling any crew position I could get. I volunteered to work for free most of the time to get hands-on experience.

I entered the motion picture program at Brooks Institute of Photography in 1984 and dove head first into 16mm production. I graduated from Brooks Institute in 1985 with a BA degree and received a special 'Merit of Excellence' award for the highest achievement in my department when I produced a promotional video for the school. The video was widely used for many years and won an award in a national competition.

My professional background in video and motion picture production spans over three decades with credits on numerous commercials, documentaries, promotional films, training films, product demonstration films, corporate films, travel films, short films, music videos and special events. CREDITS
